S.K.R.P. Gujarati Homoeopathic Medical college, Hospital and Research Centre, Indore (M.P) was established by Shri Gujarati Samaj ,Indore in the year 1998,This was the 1st step of Shri Gujarati Samaj to enter in the medical field. We plan to develop well equipped modern Homoeopathic medical college which proves itself not only in M.P. but also in India.
This institution has come up with firm commitment to provide excellent Homeopathic education. To achieve this object the college, is well equipped with up to date library, laboratories, class rooms and the most modern teaching aids. The institute provides all teaching facilities to the teachers for an ideal teaching and learning.
Seminars, Medical camps, educational tours, social service, camps etc, as well as extra curricular activities and several other allied activities togethers are a part of teaching plan in the college. The ultimate object is to provide perfect multi dimensional progress of students and their educational career.
The college aims at bringing forth best citizen embedded with moral and human values which are so essential for today’s youth, especially for people of medical profession.
The college is permitted by Govt. of M.P. Department of Medical Education, to run its course and recognized by National Commission for Homoeopathy Govt. of India under the Ministry of (AYUSH) New Delhi.
This college is affiliated to Devi Ahilya University, Indore as well as from 2015-16 affiliated with Madhya Pradesh Medical Science University Jabalpur today the institute is ranked as one of the best an Ideal Homoeopathic medical college in M.P. & stepping ahead to be the best of its kind in India.
About Homoepathy
Homoeopathy is a science of dynamised micro-Immnunology based on the law of Analogy. It is the System of Medicine which works on the principle of ‘Like Cures Like’ (Similia Similibus Curanter).This system of therapeutics is internationally accepted and is being practised in India through Homoeopathy Central Council Act 1973 passed by the Parliament of India.
This system of holistic healing was founded by Dr.Samuel Hahnemann, a German physician. After his personal experience and experiment with Cinchona Bark and malarial fever Dr. Hahnemann profoundly experimented. The theory behind the working of Homeopathy is that the body of every human being contains a vital force within the body which regulates the functioning of the body. Due to reasons such as heredity, environmental conditions, stress etc, this vital force weakens & cause disease. So, disease is nothing but a complex of certain symptoms observed in the human body. Homoeopathic medicines are given in a very low dosage. The process of making such low dilutions is called as ‘Potentisation’. Homeopathy is the best way to cure both acute and chronic diseases from slightest of Fever, Cough, Cold to Asthma, Skin Diseases & Cancers; all these are not only just curable but the cure is mild (without side effects) and permanent.
Homoeopathy uses an array of medicines whose source ranges from animals to plants and chemicals. Plants like Onion (Allium),Capsicum, Belladonna, Cactus, etc are used for preparation of homoeopathic medicines. A large number of chemicals like Nitric acid, Arsenious acid, Iron, Phosphorous are popular homoeopathic remedies.The products of diseases are used to prepare homoeopathic medicines called as nosodes. These nosodes include Carcinosin (prepared from the cancer cells), Tuberculinum (prepared from the cells of the lungs of cow infected by tuberculosis). The process of preparing homeopathic medicines ensures that they are diluted such that they lose their original form and are rendered harmless.
