Department of Surgery

Department is situated at the ground floor of Institute. The department is very spacious has cabin for HOD & staff , a Lecture room & well decorated museum. Dept is fully equipped with computer printer,& internet facility. It is also having LCD,OHP,& plenteous subject related CDs for audio visual training of students to gain knowledge of modern surgical techniques & recent advancement in the field of investigation & management.

Department containing enough X-rays &Instruments for demonstration , also containing ample amount of models & charts for teaching purpose.

Lots of books on general surgery, systemic surgery, ENT, ophthalmology, orthropaedics ,on therapeutics,& Reference  exist in academic library.

In the department students are highly motivated for presentation of Seminars & Tutorials with the help of Audio Visual aid. They are also involved in case study discussion with the help of knowledge of Pathology, M.M., Repertory, & Organon of Philosophy.

In addition to academic lectures students also get appointed in OPDs & IPD for  training of clinical knowledge. Here students are being trained in surgical examination , making diagnosis & general management.

Teaching of subject get started in BHMS –IInd Proff & get completed in BHMS –IIIrd Proff & examination is conducted at the end of BHMS-IIIrd Proff.The aim of teaching  surgery in the course is to trained our students in surgical examination &for  making proper differential diagnosis.
