About

  • The Department of Practice of Medicine is located on the Ground Floor of the Institution has a Demonstration Room, Modulated Museum and separate Cabin for HOD & Reader.

  • The Department is well-equipped with Computer/Printer with Internate facilities, LCD, OHP, Slid Projector, Medical Appliances/Instruments, Charts, Subject CDs, Models, X-rays View Box, Radiological Clips, Atlas and Departmental Library Books-including Text, Clinical, Practical, Therapeutics, MCQs, Short Questions and References for their learning in Class and Future Competitive Examinations.
  • The Subject is taught in II, III & IV Prof. and its main Objective for teaching Modern Medicine to help in Improvement Health Line. Faculties of Department conducted the Theoretical Lectures done through different Charts, Models, Audio-visual aids & on OPD & IPD Pt’s.

Clinically Demonstration-Students learn

  • Sound Clinical Training at bedside to be able to apply the learning accurately. Importance  of Diagnosis in Homeopathy. Comprehensive Case-taking following Hahnemann’s Instructions and Selection of Similimum and General Management. Laboratory Investigations required for diagnosis of disease conditions, D/D and Interpretations of Investigations Reports.

  • To assess in order to Diagnosis, Treating and Prevent disease using Clinical Judgment. Doctors & Patients relationship from interaction with examination of Patients Medical history, Medical record, followed by Medical interview, Physical examination, Diagnosis with medical devices, Signs/Symptoms, Investigations, D/D with certain procedures, from chief complaints, H/o of illness, current activity, medication, social history, review of symptoms.

Practical classes-Students Performs 

  • General/Systemic/Regional Physical Examination– Inspection, Palpation, Percussion, Auscultation.
  • Different Medical Instruments operative systems for Medical Procedures           
  • Students are made comfortable to perform Blood Pressure Examination, Pulse, Temperature, Respiration Rate etc.
  • Their performance Evaluated through regular Case study discussion/Quiz, Examination Skills, Interpretation of Lab./Radiological Investigations, Viva, Journal Club Discussion, Assignments, Tutorial, Seminars & Unit test. 
  • We organize pre and post operative medicinal care in different O.P.Ds and I.P.D.
  •  We conduct various activities like Health Check-up Camps for students and staff at various school and college for General Physical Examination like- Determination of Height, Weight, B.P, Pulse and Temperature record and other Examinations. We also conduct the Medical Camps in different areas of city (also in ruler areas) for different Prevalent Epidemic diseases (Swain-flu, Dengue, Conjunctivitis etc.) and Endemic & Sporadic diseases. All the students are actively participate in all these camps for health check up, distributing medicine for curative and precaution/Preventive purposes also Counseling and educate the people for hygienic and other measures to prevent the diseases.
  • Different Seminars/Workshops held on P.M. subject by Inviting Experts for Students to learn and help exposing in Practical field.

  • Department Integrated with different Departments like, Organon of Medicine–to learn Homoeopathic approach to diseases, applied theory of  Chronic Miasm, which the concept of Individualization for treating the disease.

  • Applied Materia-Medica for Clinical Therapeutics.

    Repertorization-Homeopathic Software available in Repertory Department with the help of which Students are find out Simillimum in Scientific and easy way of Chronic Case which help them in Practicing Homoeopathy.

  • Students learn the correlation with the Basics of Anatomy, Physiology and Bio-Chemistry to the Practice of Medicine.

Pathology :-Interaction for various Investigations.

  • Department invites various re-proving of drugs in co-ordination with other Department assistance for the interns. Students are highly motivated for Learning, Research and also encouraged for active participation in Extra-curricular activities in a way to prepare them for Practical exposure in field.
